University of Helsinki Botanical Garden

Located in the Kaisaniemi district of Helsinki, the University of Helsinki Botanical Garden is a long-standing scientific institution featuring both outdoor plantings and a historic greenhouse complex dating to the late 19th century. The greenhouse houses more than 800 plant species from tropical and subtropical regions, including palms grown in carefully controlled environments.
