About Beccariophoenix alfredii
This is a recently discovered species of palm closely related to the coconut palm. It is a solitary palm with a thin trunk, ringed with leaf scars. Its crown is topped with 30-36 green pinnate leaves. Due to its similarity in appearance and tolerance to cold, it is becoming a popular choice in cultivation in cooler climates.

Cultivation Tips
Plant in a location that is full sun to partial shade. This species is relatively easy to care for and should be planted in well drained but moist, rich organic soil.
