About Saribus tothur
This is a solitary fan palm with a slender, smooth to lightly ringed trunk that rises cleanly above the forest floor, giving it a tall and elegant profile. The crown has large, costapalmate leaves with deeply divided segments that taper into graceful drooping tips, creating a rounded, airy canopy of bright to medium green. Inflorescences emerge below the foliage as long, arching, multi-branched sprays carrying tiny yellowish flowers that attract insects in the understory. The fruits ripen from green to rich red or crimson, hanging in conspicuous clusters that add seasonal flashes of color amid the deep-green fans. Native to Papua New Guinea, this species grows in lowland tropical forests where humidity is high, light is filtered, and soils are moist but well drained.

Cultivation Tips
