About Rhopaloblaste singaporensis
This species is a clustering palm widespread in the understory of humid rainforests. This slender palm forms small clusters of thin trunks with a greyish brown surface. The trunk has prominent leaf scars. It has a tan to silver crownshaft and its crown is topped with very finely divided, glossy green leaves. The inflorescence emerges from the leaf sheaths below crown-shaft and has orange flowers. The fruit is yellowish orange to red when ripe.

Cultivation Tips
Plant in a location that receives full shade to partial shade. Given its tropical environment in the wild, it likes a warm, sheltered and moist location. Water regularly, while ensuring the soil drains well. Do not let the roots dry out in between waterings. Feed regularly during the growing season with a high quality palm fertilizer.
