About Pritchardia remota
This species is a solitary palm with a smooth, grey-brown trunk. One of the smaller species of its genus. Its crown is topped with wavy, fan shaped leaves which are deeply divided and have drooping tips. The large, many branched inflorescence emerges from beneath the leaf crown. Flowers are arranged spirally along the branches. The small fruit is oval shaped and turns dark brown to black when fully ripe.
