Cultivation Tips

This species is an evergreen palm producing one to several very short stems, topped with large leaves that are, simple, circular and quite stunning. Plant in a location that receives filtered light and full to partial shade. Water regularly and to maintain rich and moist soil. It thrives in humid tropical environments and make excellent potted plants in less optimal climates. Feed regularly during the growing season with a high quality palm fertilizer.
