About Dictyosperma album var. aureum
This species is native to coastal forests. It is a solitary palm with a slender, ringed trunk with a slight bulge at the base. The tall crownshaft is slightly swollen at the bottom and is covered in a whitish wax. The leaves are long, darak green with short petioles. Branched inflorescences emerge at the base of the crownshaft above the trunk. The small flowers are white to yellow. Fruit is oval shaped and turns purple when fully ripe.
