About Copernicia curtissii
This species is a medium sized solitary, sometimes clustering palm with a slender gray trunk. Its crown is topped with fan shaped leaves. A somewhat variable species, there are both green and silver forms. When in bloom, the multi branched inflorescence emerges from within the leaves and extends well past them. Kew Gardens has considered this species to be synonymous with Copernicia hospita var. clarensis.

Cultivation Tips
Select a location that receives partial shade to full sun. As it matures, it requires full sun. It will thrive if planted in rich soil with good drainage. Water occasionally, as this species is somewhat drought tolerant. Feed occasionally during the growing season with a high quality palm fertilizer.
