About Chamaedorea woodsoniana
This species is the largest of the genus. It is a solitary palm and one of the only of its genus with trunk, which is slender, green and has distinctive rings from old leaf scars. The crownshaft is an attractive green which is often swollen at its base. The crown is topped with 4-6 leaf fronds that are bright green and can reach a length of 60cm. The inflorescences are branched and a bright, coral red, as are the fruit when fully ripe.

Cultivation Tips
Plant in a location that receives partial shade and indirect light. It prefers moist, rich, and acidic soil. Water regularly, do not let the soil dry out in between waterings. Feed occasionally during the growing season with a high quality palm fertilizer.
