This is a graceful solitary understory palm known for its slender trunk and elegant tropical appearance. The stem is thin, prominently ringed, and topped by a noticeable green crownshaft that gives the species a refined look. Its pinnate leaves arch outward in a soft, feathery crown with narrow leaflets that create an exceptionally lush appearance in shaded garden settings. Beneath the crownshaft, the palm produces delicate inflorescences followed by small ornamental fruits that add seasonal interest as they mature. Cultivation Tips
This palm performs best in warm, humid environments with protection from direct afternoon sun and drying winds.
