About Calyptrocalyx pauciflorus
Small clustering palm with numerous slender stems ringed with old leaf scars. Its crown has large v-shaped leaves that emerge a bright pink color. The branched inflorescence emerges from within the leaves and has small, cream colored flowers. Small round fruits turn red when fully ripe.

Cultivation Tips
Plant in a sheltered location that receives full to partial shade with periods of indirect sunlight. This is a tropical species that will thrive in a warm, humid environment. Plant in rich soil with with good drainage. Water regularly to ensure the soil does not dry out in between waterings. Feed occasionally during the growing season with a high quality palm fertilizer. Very rare in cultivation.
