Cultivation Tips
Plant in a location that receives full to partial shade. It will thrive in humid conditions with moist, well-drained soils. It's important to keep the soil evenly moist, but not waterlogged. Water regularly, even deeply once or twice a week, depending on the climate and soil conditions. Feed occasionally during the growing season with a high quality palm fertilizer. It is not widely cultivated, but is occasionally grown as an ornamental plant in tropical gardens.
