Cultivation Tips

This species thrives in the tropical, subtropical climate zones and, marginally, in the warm temperate ones. It prefers full sun, and can adapt to a variety of soils, even poor, provided they are well drained. It can stand periods of drought, but in benefits from regular watering. Feed several times during the growing season with a high quality palm fertilizer.
