About Carpoxylon macrospermum

A graceful, tall, emergent, solitary palm with a well developed shiny, green crownshaft. It’s crown is topped with gracefully arching pinnate leaves.  Fruiting parts held below the crownshaft, staged, twice branched, with large fruits becoming bright orange on maturity.

Cultivation Tips

This species is a reliable, easy and quite fast growing ornamental palm which thrives best in direct sunlight or full sun meaning that it loves at least 6-8 hours of bright direct light. Requires consistently moist soil; do not let dry out between waterings.
